Is the MZC-20E the right earth fault loop impedance tester for me?
The MZC-20E is an earth fault loop impedance tester with very simple operation. Its functionality is limited exclusively to measuring loop impedance and voltage. The resulting prospective short-circuit current is calculated from these measurements.
The MZC-20E is an affordable earth fault loop impedance tester that does without extensive additional features such as memory and data transfer, making it ideal for professional use on construction sites and in industrial settings.
The device can measure earth fault loop impedance at mains voltages of up to 440 V. The measurement is carried out using a two-wire method and can detect impedances as low as 0.24 Ω.
Direct comparison between the MZC-20E and the MZC-304F
Both testers come in the same ergonomic housing. However, they differ significantly in terms of functionality. The MZC-20E is a simple earth fault loop impedance tester for measuring voltage and loop impedance (the short-circuit current is calculated from the measured values). A memory function is not included.
